Book Tour Update

Around 3:30 CDT Monday afternoon, Greg will be on KGOW 1560 (nobody calls it by the call letters, it’s “1560 The Game”) with Sean & John. Sean is Sean Pendergast, a/k/a “The Cablinasian”, the 5-time winner of The Jim Rome Show Smack-Off and by extension the greatest caller in the history of radio. He made the seamless transition to hosting a couple of years ago, and has one of the few sports radio shows that isn’t boring and repetitive. No fake laughter, either. The listen live link is on this page.

Then at 4:30, join Greg as he signs copies of Control Your Cash at Jake’s Philly Steaks & Sports Bar, a proud sponsor of The Sean & John Show and a wonderfully accommodating restaurant that’s granted us an opportunity to meet with you folks, and introduce Houstonians to the sheer unbridled thrills and excitement of learning about personal finance. Jake’s is at 2944 Chimney Rock, between Westheimer and Richmond. Can’t imagine why you’d need their number, but it’s (713) 781-1962. Stop by, stay hi, bring cash or a credit card and we’ll see you TODAY – Monday June 21.

Day 2: Houston book tour

For the smart minority of REALTORS® who want to learn how to control their cash, City Homes will host a wine and cheese reception for the woman who literally wrote the book on the topic – former Women’s Council of REALTORS® national president Betty Kincaid. The reception will be held at 2800 Polk, a luxury gated townhouse community in the heart of downtown Houston.

Betty will answer your money questions and sign copies of her latest release, Control Your Cash: Making Money Make Sense, while you tour the 4 model homes. It all begins at 4:00 PM on June 22 at 2800 Polk – 1301 Delano Street. Call 866-837-6930.

Betty says, “Fiscal recklessness is for Central African dictators, not for people who want to build wealth.” Her book is non-technical and easy to read, but densely packed with all the information about money that everyone should know but that many people don’t bother to. Control Your Cash destroys misconceptions, explaining everything from how stocks, bonds and other securities work, to how taxes work, to how to buy a car without leaving money on the table. The book is ideal for REALTORS® who want to understand how to build wealth, rather than just earn money.
